KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A top palm oil industry analyst on Tuesday stated Indonesia's prepare for the widespread use of the palm-oil based B40 biodiesel from next year would be "catastrophic".

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A top palm oil market expert on Tuesday stated Indonesia's plan for the widespread usage of the palm-oil based B40 biodiesel from next year would be "disastrous" for the worldwide market, as it would include the additional usage of 1.5 to 1.7 million metric loads of the product.


Oil World senior analyst David Mielke also said worldwide palm oil production is expected to increase by 2.3 million metric heaps in 2024/25 compared to the previous season.
